Your obligations,
clearly managed.

Ongoing support with Spanish property taxes, non-resident returns and local charges, helping you remain compliant throughout ownership.

ONGOING SUPPORT AFTER PURCHASE

Owning property in Spain brings continuing tax obligations.

Once you become a property owner in Spain, you may need to deal with non-resident income tax, rental-income declarations and local property charges. The requirements depend on your tax residence, ownership share and how the property is used.

We help clients understand these obligations, prepare the relevant returns and keep payments and communications properly organised after completion.

KEY PROPERTY TAXES

Different obligations, brought into one clear annual process.

01

Non-resident property tax

Non-resident owners may need to submit Modelo 210 returns, including an annual return where a property is kept for private use. Each co-owner normally files for their own share.

02

Tax on rental income

If the property is rented, the income must be declared in Spain. The treatment of allowable expenses can differ depending on where the owner is tax resident.

03

Local property charges

Town Halls issue annual property and local-service charges, often administered by SUMA in Alicante. We can help locate bills and arrange direct debits.

FROM REVIEW TO ONGOING COMPLIANCE

Every obligation kept under control.

Our support can continue throughout the ownership cycle, from identifying what applies to arranging declarations, payments and representation where needed.
