Signing while you are in Spain

This is usually the simplest, quickest and most cost-effective option. Tell us your travel dates and we can arrange a local notary appointment and accompany you to the signing.

Arranging it from abroad

We can draft the document for signature before a notary in your country. Depending on where it is signed, an Apostille, a notarised passport copy and delivery of the original document may be required.

Signing at a Spanish Consulate

A Spanish Consulate may also formalise the Power of Attorney. This route avoids some foreign-document formalities, although appointment availability can affect timings.

Using the Power of Attorney

Subject to the authority granted, we may be able to obtain an NIE, open a Spanish bank account, sign property documents, attend completion and coordinate post-completion matters on your behalf.
